MAGENTA (Nonantzin Martínez) was born in México city in 1965. Designer, programmer ,Video and Sound Artist , working in the field of experimental Desing,Video Art, Live Cinema and Generative Art. Bachelor degree in Audio Graphic Desing, Bachelor Studies in Molecular Genetics at UAMI, Master degree in Arts and Sciences for Design at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, visual Art workshops at Escuela Nacional de Artes plásticas, U.N.A.M. and Multimedia Center at C.M.M Centro Nacional de las Artes. PHD in Social Science UAMX, Academic and researcher at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Cuajimalpa . Mexico D.F.; Working in Sound Art field with a transdisciplinary approach since 2011.

The piece MEIOSIS 01 is and experimental one that works with Meiosis (sexual cell división and recombination process) timing as an experimental escore (partiture), where cell changing structures in process correspond each one with one sound of the piece.
