Born in Sweden, now lives and works in Bergen, Norway. first year bacholor at Bergen Academy of Arts and Design, Fine Arts with focus on Haptic materiallity and Sonic art.

Artist statement:

"In my artisitc practice I move between that which is limited by matter, the physical reality which the body can not penetrate and that who wants to transcend and move over the line. In this meeting a breach is revealed. A separation between worlds. This chasm is there as a tool in my working process, which can be read through the word 'skie'. The etymological background for this word hides two, by the surface, contrary words: scientia & schizophrenia. The scientist who separates, to look in to the fission in the will to see what is. The schizophrenic who separates the mind from the body and cleaves his consciousness and is alienated from the world. By the act of separation we are seated in a interspace where the irrational fills the void. The irrational precedes logos, that of the consciousness will to structure the world. I work in a chasm between nature and culture. With the human will to control and the will to conjunction what is separated and what surround him. By the matter which is let being formed and is giving it being as a tool i this will to power. To take control over, to be controlled by. A power that as easily falls out of the human hand.

The dialogue is found in my artistic research by the meeting of what is separated. In the expanded field and installation meets objects, visual image and sound, the carnal and that who wants to transcend the form, structure and logos. The symbol, by throwing together and point to new understandings of this interspace. The symbol as the wordless, the transient which is never grasped by the rational mind"

How does the apparatus of communication affect the public when the medium is based on one way communication? The radio, as the influencing machine, is always there for you to speak to you. Turn your ear to it and listen. When tuning between voices and sound that fades in and out in trough distortion, looking for broadcasting, in this there is one could say a schizophrenic relation between the transmissions and its receiver, its talks to you, but your answer is never to be heard. As an object as a communicator of mass appliance is the radio a collective schizophrenic experience?

As Victor Tausk describes it in his article 'The Origin of the Influencing Machine : "the schizophrenic influencing machine is one of mystical nature. (...)It consist of boxes, cranks, levers, wheels, buttons, wires batteries, and the like. (...) It produces, as well as removes thoughts and feelings by means of waves or rays or mysterious forces which the patient's knowledge of physics is inadequate to explain. In such cases, the machine is often called a "suggestion-apparatus"".

What you hear is an answer to this influencing machine. Trough recording, deconstruce and reconstruct its voice in a will to speak the languish of the apparatus.
